£140,000 – £160,000 + 25% bonus


IAC is working with a fast-growing Financial Services organisation to recruit an Associate Director, Internal Audit. Reporting to the Group Audit Director, and managing a team of 4, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the audit plan whilst deputising for the Group Audit Director as required.

This is a high-profile role in the department, and you’ll be the face of the Internal Audit team responsible for managing and leading the function’s relationships with the businesses operating companies. You’ll support to Group Audit Director with audit planning activities and assess key risks facing the Group. The Associate Director, Internal Audit will attend key governance committees and have ownership of delivering formal audit reports to Executive stakeholders. As a senior member of the function, you’ll lead the team and be responsible for ongoing coaching and development, as well as attracting and retaining new members of the team.

My client is looking a commercially astute candidate comfortable of working in a regulated but fast-paced and changing organisation. You’ll ideally hold a recognised accountancy qualification with significant Internal Audit experience, ideally within Financial Services. You must be an exceptional communicator and influencer and able to challenge and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
