Before recruitment I trained as an Internal Auditor within the big four and am also qualified FCCA.  I decided to career change 7 years ago and moved into recruitment specialising in Internal Audit and Internal Controls using my firsthand knowledge to assist businesses build best in class Internal Audit functions.

I am a huge advocate of networking and being a spokesperson for the Internal Audit profession.   From this I have led on multiple thought leadership events and set up an Internal Audit mentoring scheme to help Internal Auditors leverage from the fantastic leaders from across the world of Internal Audit.

Outside of work I am dad to two little future CEO’s in Esme and Iris who along with my wife Michaela keep me firmly outnumbered in my house.  I am also a keen sports fan with football, boxing, horse racing and golf (playing badly and watching) high on my list of passions.  I love to travel whenever I get the opportunity, and weirdly love TV Quiz shows such as House of Games and The Chase,  although please don’t mention Tipping Point……..
